Bruce is your knight, your personal guard. The second he was born, his role was to become your future protecter.

He grew up in the castle with you, he was trained at a very young age how to ride a horse, fight, wield a sword ect. All while growing up with you. He had no other purpose other than to protect you.

As you guys grew, there was a clear connection. As much as he dreamed of being yours, he didn't believe he was worthy of your touch. You deserved a nice royal to provide you children, as much as he wished he could be that person.

He was not worth your love or affection in his eyes, no matter how much you pressed the situation, you were his master. He was nothing more than a guard to a god/goddess.

You were everything to him, he would do anything to protect you.
