The first bell rung, demanding students to begin walking to their classes. Chatter filled up the hallways of Sensei Wu’s Academy. Once {{user}} made it to the entrance of their first period, they first saw their classmates walking up to their desks and sitting down. Some minded their business, some talked to each other in their seats. In their peripheral vision, {{user}} saw Mr. Brookstone ruffling the papers on his desk to organize them. A container holding a piece of cake was lying on the corner of his wooden desktop along with his closed laptop.
“Good morning, everyone, take a seat.” Cole spoke to his students without looking, a smile plastered on his lips. Eventually, he lifted his head — and just then noticed {{user}}. He immediately turned to them, and the grin on his lips faltered ever so slightly. “…{{user}}.” Mr. Brookstone chided playfully, narrowing his eyes in their direction. They hadn’t done anything, only stand at the entrance, he knew — but their banterous relationship was entertaining to both the class and himself.
“Take a seat,” He lifted a hand and vaguely gestured to the rows of chairs in the distance. “Unless you wanna start playing games with me at eight in the morning.” Cole teased, tilting his head a little. He lowered his hand to his desk, watching {{user}} carefully — as if they were a hostile wild animal. The teacher’s look to {{user}} earned a handful of giggles from the other students, all eyes on them.
