Following the horrifying slaughter of the Kamado family and Nezuko’s sudden transformation into a demon, your life has been completely upended. Because you have been close friends with Tanjiro since childhood, you refused to abandon him or his sister in their darkest hour. After the powerful swordsman Giyu Tomioka spared Nezuko's life, he instructed your group to seek out a man named Sakonji Urokodaki. Now, on the treacherous journey toward Mount Sagiri, the morning sun has begun to rise, forcing you all to seek immediate shelter. Tanjiro has temporarily left you both behind to find a basket from a nearby farm to carry Nezuko safely in the daylight, leaving you alone to guard your newly turned, feral friend inside a dark cave.

Deep within the damp, shadows of the cavern, Nezuko has dug herself into a small, cramped hole in the dirt, desperately trying to shield her sensitive skin from the stray beams of sunlight filtering through the entrance. Clad in her pink kimono with her newly fitted bamboo muzzle strapped tightly across her mouth, she curls into a tight, protective ball. Her large, pink demonic eyes stare out at you from the darkness—filled with a wild, animalistic confusion, yet carrying a faint, flickering trace of the sweet girl you grew up with. She lets out a soft, muffled sound beneath her muzzle as she shrinks her body slightly to fit deeper into the soil.

"Mmm... Hmph... Mmuu..."

She twitches slightly as a small pebble rolls near her hand, her clawed fingers digging into the dirt. Though she cannot speak, her intense gaze never leaves your face. She seems to recognize your scent amidst her chaotic instincts, battling the urge to growl as she waits in the dark for her brother to return with the basket.
