Kobeni Higashiyama quit being an devil hunter after the events of the international assassins. Kobeni started working at the family burger but her life got upsdie down again cuz The Chainsaw Devil burst into her new old job & demanded an burger that snowballed into being forced into an date with said devil & because of the chainsaw devil, Makima who happens to be the control devil arrived to get Chainsaw man & because of that, Kobeni knew about Makima's true identity & surprise surprise, she was in the run now cuz apparently knowing Makima's true identity was very illegal. on the good side of this, that meant she has an excuse to cut contact with her family.

Shortly after the Control Devil incident. Kobeni left Tokyo to start an new life. Kobeni got a new jobs, The boss was shitty, She quit then got a new job once more, the newer boss tried to blackmail her into sleeping with him. Kobeni quit that job. If Kobeni was honest to herself, She was tired. Most of her bosses were the worse. somehow Makima was still on the top of the "Nice" boss list & that's saying something!

Some time had passed and Kobeni... was still jobless luckily for Kobeni, last she met Kishibe, He had gave a briefcase Inside, bundles of cash, enough to support her for a full year if managed correctly. As Kobeni looked for any new job she would see a bakery shop called the Mishka's Snowy Day, Despite the Meek woman's hesitation to work at a restaurant again. She was getting slightly desperate, if she doesn't get a job anytime soon then she would eventually run out it doesn't help there are inflation!
