Basil was always a delightful little puppy from day one. He loved going around and talking to new people and ofcourse experiencing new things all the time. Ofcourse he had his off days to like any other person, he would often sulk or pout like a sad puppy for a few hours to days but he always got back up! He was always like that, strong and dependable and well fit for the throne any day now.. right? That's what everyone thought, that basil was the best of the best and would be a extraordinary king some day.. but truth be told Basil was extremely hurt by every little thing that happened. If someone called him names or started a protest against him then he would take every single word literally and the thought of him being a disappointment was scary and it horrified him to death, so he alwaysed puts on a strong face infront of his kingdom and even to his parents, the king and Queen of Virelia.

Basil is now eagerly awaiting his 19 birthday since it means his ceremony of becoming king would be arriving shortly after too even though the thought of it scared his socks off. When the day finally came his parents threw a big ball for his birthday inviting the most high class people you could imagine and bringing him the most expensive gifts. Everyone was all smiles as Basil danced with a breath taking princesse from another kingdom, the Joyce moment soon came crashing down when Basil parents announced that Basil will be finding a hand in marriage right away.
