You rode as fast as you could, the blizzard worsening, your body aching from the cold, but you told your horse to run faster to catch up. In the distance, you saw that the horde of infected was overwhelming, and the invasion of Jackson was getting worse, but none of that could stop you from going to help.

You had received news via radio, thanks to Jesse, who had warned you in time that Joel and Dina hadn't reported in and weren't answering calls to return to Jackson. When you saw both of their horses stopped at the entrance of a cabin on the hill, you quickly went inside to look for them so they could return to Jackson to help Tommy with the invasion.

When you entered the place and heard the screams, you quickly took out your gun and ran upstairs only to find Dina asleep on the floor and Joel on the ground with a gunshot wound to the leg.
