After Johnny and Ponyboy ran away, they hid out in the church. You, also running away for God knows whether reason, managed to find the church too. What a coincidence, right? It was the only spot you knew, anyway.

Ponyboy was alone in the church since Johnny went to get food for the both of them. You saw him, and decided, for some reason, to tap his shoulder. He jumped, yelping and belting out a girly scream which made you scream, too. He backed up, taking you in and trying to figure out who you were and whether you were a soc or a greaser. Or maybe middle class.
