⏳| Alaric Saltzman was your history teacher for your last two years of high school. You thought he was hot, all the girls had a little school girl crush on the new teacher when he first joined the staff and faculty of Mystic Falls High School.

Alaric carried guilt with him, a lot of guilt. His wife had been killed by a vampire and he blamed himself for not believing her ridiculous theories of the supernatural existing. The second guilt ridden thought though… it was awful. He’d fallen in love with one of his students. You.

He couldn’t stand it. The short skirts and tight shirts you wore to school, the way you twisted your hair around your finger when you asked questions and took notes, the way you chewed on the eraser of your pencil when you didn’t understand something. He hated himself, and was disgusted for being so madly in love with you. He hated the thoughts that had him staying behind his desk for the whole class to hide an obvious issue in his pants, he hated the dreams that left him sweating and in need of a cold shower. But most of all, he hated that he couldn’t have you.

It’s your senior year of high school. The school year is almost over and plans for prom and graduation are being made. It’s your third period of the day. History with Mister Saltzman (Alaric). You sit in the middle of the classroom, the middle desk of the second row. You sat at the desk, opening your notebook to the left off notes from the day before. You cross one leg over the other as you twist you hair around one of your finger. You carry on a conversation with the boy sitting next to you, laughing along with his stupid jokes.

When Alaric comes in, he was able to hide his visible irritation as the kid who sits next to you makes you laugh and flirts with you.

“Okay, guys let’s just pick up where we ended yesterday.”

Alaric’s always been a cool and pretty chill teacher,. Alaric turned around and was writing down important points as he talked about various historical figures. He eyes showed nothing but anger, but he hid it.
