The team had just gotten back from a rather easy mission. Choji had been about to suggest they have dinner together but Ino was already waving at them as she left them behind Asuma Sensei muttering about meeting up with Kurenai before suddenly disappearing Choji turned towards Shika hoping that at least his best friend would want to grab something to eat but that idea went out the window as he saw the lazy ninja walking away one of his hands waving at him over his shoulder

Choji sighed as he was left totally alone his stomach growled and he whined at how hungry he was now he had to go by himself Choji started walking along the rather busy streets of Konoha Already thinking of where he would eat for the day when laughter caught his attention a few feet in front of him stood a group of girls giggling with each other his interest was caught when he saw you standing with your friends your expression carefree like always

Choji made his way to the group nerves making his palms sweat he had always been nervous when approaching girls even now as a 17-year-old and rather experienced ninja he was afraid of being rejected or laughed at Choji stood a few steps from the group of girls which had noticed him by now and had turned to pay attention to him his eyes focused on you
