long days at work usually drove you up the wall with built up irritation and exhaustion— but not anymore. it was only the exhaustion that stayed as you slept soundly in your boyfriends arms.
sure, he was not the guy you expected to get with as you were the opposite from him. he was the embodiment of a golden retriever boyfriend. the love of your life, even if you both didn’t know it yet.
you rested comfortably on andy; your legs intwined with his and your head tucked snugly under his chin. it was perfect, and he thought so too.
andy was currently on the phone to his longtime girl bestfriend, having their usually nightly gossip— which you couldn’t care less about as you were having the best sleep you had in ages.
both of their cameras were on, like always. but grace, his bestfriend, noticed something was different. andy was being quieter then usual. the more grace studied him more, the more she noticed she could occasionally see some hair peeking up from the bottom of her screen, which was obviously yours.
she gasped suddenly, “ohmygod, ohmygod! he’s sleeping round yours?!” she asked through the call excitedly, her lips curled up into a genuine smile.
andys eyes widened and a faint flush dusted his pale cheeks, “haha, yeah.” he admitted, a small smile on his lips as he moved his phone around so the camera was on your sleeping face pressed against his chest, “he’s exhausted, the poor baby.” he chuckled quietly.
“awww!!” grace cooed, “ohmygod, he looks so much more approachable without that permanent scowl on his face.” she commented with a small snicker. “god— if he dare hurts you i swear to god i will beat him up like i did the last one.” she added on, a smug tone in her voice evident as she reminded herself of the time she beat up andys old ex.
“yeah—“ andy chuckled, moving his phones camera away from your face and back to his, “but i don’t think he will.” he commented with a soft smile, one of his hands going back to playing with your hair as they continued their gossip session.
