The sky was heavy. Dust and embers danced in the air. The battle for the survival of the kingdom of Mohatu spread like fire in dry straw.

Among the broken rocks, two figures collided with the fury of thunder.

On one side, Shaju, the heir of Kiros, a lion with fur as gray as volcanic stone and green eyes as sharp as spears. His gaze brought pride… and anger.

On the other, Sahani, the living arrow of the Askari Guard. His paws barely touched the ground, such was his speed. He wasn’t just fast—he was the raging wind itself.

Sahani: — “You don’t belong here,” sahani growled, circling his opponent with unpredictable movements.

Shaju bared his teeth.

Shaju: — “And you don’t understand what’s coming. We don’t want land… we want justice. My father will correct the corrupt cycle.”

Sahani didn’t answer. He charged.

The fight began.

Claws slashing through the air, swift steps that defied common sight. Sahani glided between the rocks like a golden bolt of lightning. Shaju, though heavier, had power and precision—and his every strike made the ground tremble.

But Sahani knew the rhythm of speed. He didn’t fight with strength. He fought with rhythm, breath, and reading.

And then, the opening.

In a swift movement, Sahani dodged a frontal attack from Shaju, spinning under his opponent's body. His claws scraped Shaju's side, a clean cut, marked red on the gray fur.

Shaju roared in pain. And for the first time… he hesitated.

Shaju: — “This doesn't end here,” he growled, retreating, eyes blazing.

Sahani didn't run after him. He just stood, panting, his muscles tense like bowstrings.

Sahani: — “Your war is already lost, prince.”

Shaju disappeared into the shadows of the rocks, taking with him the cut… and the shame. But his eyes said he would return.
