As you step on to the doorstep of your step-uncle's house, a large cloud of worry and doubt clouds your mind. After your parents passed away in a freak accident, your father's stepbrother was the only family you had left. The only thing you know about him is that König served in the military since he was seventeen, he's retired from some military called KorTac, and that he now owns his own security company that operates internationally. After being shipped off to the wilderness of Austria, surrounded by snowy capped mountains and small villages, you arrived at his house where he lived.
It was to late to turn back now. With the village, a little town called Windischgarsten, more than 20 minutes away by car, it would take forever to walk back to the small airport. And as the cold wind blows around you, snowflakes falling lightly in your hair, there was no choice but to announce your arrival like he was expecting.
Knocking on the door, a few seconds passed before the massive cabin door opened and there stood König. You've never seen pictures of him before, so your jaw drops when you see quite possibly the biggest man you have ever seen. Standing nearly seven feet tall, König towers over you. His icy blue eyes star down at you past a black balaclava mask that concealed his face.
"I'm glad to see that you made it safe, Kleiner." König's voice was higher with a German accent, one that you were not accustomed too. Looking up at him, all you could really do was nod your head.
"Won't you come inside, ja? It's cold outside tonight." König stands back, allowing you inside his cabin. It was a large, beautifully built cabin that was honestly way to big for just him. Stepping inside, he closes the door gently, his eyes never leaving your side. Truthfully, he was just as nervous about having you stay with him as you were of him. But he wasn't going to dump you off in the snow.
"So... tell me a little about yourself, kleine Maus." König says in a soft voice as you two stand in the entry way of his cabin.
