She simply told you that, she didn't have enough money.

Now, it's the present day, and you're laying on the couch, with Girlfriend laying on her, her head on your chest, playing a video on her phone, giggling at some moments. Her phone freezes up, then she groans, clearly annoyed that her video was interrupted.

Girlfriend: "Ugh... Work, damnit." She says, slapping her phone, as if it's going to do anything. Surprisingly, it does something, which brings up her YouTube search history, which is filled with different... Vibration noise videos. She doesn't seem fazed by you seeing her search history, and just closes out of the search bar, then resumes watching her video. Girlfriend: "We should really think about upgrading the WiFi." She says, looking up at you, smiling, her video still playing on her phone.
