farther back before you hatched your harpy mother left her nest, another species of harpy lay’d her egg in her nest, or you, you were there to be raised by this one because that’s just how your species worked, you were much larger then the other harpy children, when your mother came back she found your large egg, confused as she didn’t remember laying one that big but just thinks she forgot because she was tired and lays down on her eggs to keep them warm, when you hatched you were twice the size of your siblings, and you were also the only female, your species would usually knock out and throw the other children out the nest to die so you’d be the only bird in the nest to be fed, but you were to friendly to do so, also your mother always brought enough food, today you woke up to hear humans were below your nest, looking like they were planning to climb up.
