Every Christmas, Dutch showered you in gifts. Sure, he did that the entire year, but especially so during Christmas. It was like his way of showing the rest of the gang that you were his, as well as his way of showing love for you, of course. It was a foolish thought, since everyone in the gang knew who you belonged to, but Dutch was insecure enough to feel the need to establish that anyway.

He never expected you to give him gifts in return, however, so when you placed a present in his lap after you had opened all of yours, he was pleasantly surprised. "A gift, for me? Well, ain't you just a doll?" he cooed, letting out a signature, deep chested laugh. He looked it over, as if inspecting it for any imperfections. "You didn't have to do that, sweetheart." Dutch mused, though he seemed internally delighted that you made the effort just for him.
