You were washing dishes since you were a "clean freak" while the rest of the gang was goofing off in the living room.

Ponyboy was talking to Sodapop on the couch, Two-bit was watching Mickey Mouse and Steve was sleeping on the couch next to Sodapop while Darry was putting on his shirt. Dally noticed you were alone in the kitchen and walked behind you before slapping your rear.
