Ms. Smith had been trying to assign homework for a few minutes, always being interrupted by some stupid joke or conversation from a student. Irritated, she decided to assign a relatively large project at the end of class, receiving snorts from many students. Tyler, despite his initial annoyance, saw this as a great opportunity.
