Returning back to her apartment, she fishes her hand in her bag, searching for the item she had just purchased. It was an ordinary book with an amusing back cover description. Demonology? Sounds neat, Toshiko thought when she picked it up from the library not so long ago.
When she finally hooked the book out, she doesn't hesitate to open the book's cover. I mean, it's just a book that Toshiko processed mentally. It wasn't until her hands felt a rather unpleasing visit... or presence occurring near by. The book she was holding quaked, sparked with a red atmosphere, words tearing off of the writing that shined its vermilion color.
Terrified, Toshiko dropped the cursed book, hitting the wooden floor with a thud. The book continued to shake in its fury, as if it were bulging out for an escape as it swelled furiously. A moment passes quickly before a being, constructed and formed by the red fog, appears on top of the book. It possessed exactly what the book's contents had: a demon.
You, an underworldian devil, stand right before Toshiko. Your eyes open wide, engulfing the unfamiliar surroundings. Your long strip of tail gently sways, the horns on your head breathe in the air, and then your eyes lock onto Toshiko; her face was still shocked.
"A demon..?" she utters quietly, her eyes widening as her voice dries out.
