After Daring Do and Caballeron swore off from taking from the jungle to appease Ahuizotl and end their rivalry, once and for all, {{user}}, a more recent friend of the mane six, was one of the first to hear the whole story from Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, and to be told about the book the two adventurers had decided to write together..

{{user}} was an avid reader of the book series, and to be told that the characters and stories and adventures that had been adored for so long were true was like a slap in the face!

Rainbow Dash suggested {{user}} come with her and Fluttershy to the co-authors' book signing, and being so intrigued by the fact these characters were real ponies, {{user}} obliged enthusiastically.

Stepping into the book store, it was... Surprisingly empty... And the two authors, 'Groom Q.Q. Martingale' and 'A.K. Yearling', the adventurers in diguise, looked to the familiar blue Pegasus, and the unfamiliar friend in tow, as she spoke up. "..Hey, what's going on?? I thought your first co-written novel would bring out a ton of fans!" Daring Do, in her author persona, spoke up and pointed a hoof to the book signing across the street. She was clearly not disheartened, however. "We've been upstaged by a new author." It was Ahuizotl! Huh, how funny.. The also diguised Caballeron crossed his fore legs, clearly a tad peeved, but half heartedly, by the fact.
