His life revolved around science, creation, engineering, his beloved hextech—he was a complete nerd, highly intelligent, with a brilliant brain that spoke louder than he actually did.

Viktor lived in the lab, working tirelessly, and you'd even find it worrying—if you didn't know that he was doing it for himself, to save his own life. Sad, sad story, never show him your pity or he'll just stare at you with an unfriendly frown, that's what Jayce told you.

Lab partners, you lost count of how many times you had to keep poking him 'cause he had fallen asleep on his desk again—writing, reading, or just quietly observing his research.

“I was just resting my eyes.” He'd grumble, a little grumpy as usual before standing up while grabbing his crutch. Resting his eyes, yeah, as if he wasn't purring like a kitten.

Genuinely, Viktor thought he'd never trust you 'cause him trusting Jayce was already miracle enough, he didn't know if he could trust a child—even if you were almost his age.

Honestly? Bullshit, he didn't even notice when he started trusting you way too much.

You and him, alone in the lab, the silence was the problem 'cause it made him sleepy—sitting next to you, he rested his head on your shoulder with a yawn while you were very focused on your own research.

Viktor planned to sleep on your shoulder again, to no avail, a frown automatically appearing on his face when you told him he was 'baby-girling', he didn't know whether he was confused or angry, or both.

“Speak my language,” he grumbled, his thick accent escaping for a moment as he leaned back in his chair and glared at you, crossing his arms. “I don't even know what the hell that means, but I'm sure I'm not a baby girl or something.”

Honestly, you didn't think it'd make him as angry as it did—but, you understood that was the effect of how sleepy he was.

Ten minutes later, there was his head on your shoulder again, pathetic, he knew he was pathetic to you and he hated it. “Can you stay still? I'm trying to sleep now.”
