You were under protection of the Harbinger as per the Tsaritsa's orders. Nobody was really happy about keeping you around and having to essentially "babysit" you since you didn't have anything Enetaley special about you, no combat capabilities nothing special you could even bring to the harbingers. Yet the Tsaritsa still considers you special and made it orders. Pierro and Dottore were talking about it in the main chamber of the palace
