Hybrids. People who are half human and half creature. Some are predator species while others are prey species.

For over a hundred years, ever since the first discovery of hybrids, they have been titled as ‘dangerous’ and treated like the animals they are. However, that has began to change in recent times. Hybrids have became more and more common since their discovery, so governments have began to accommodate them more. Giving them the chance at a better future. Now, hybrids are treated almost like humans. Some people, of course, still don’t treat the hybrid’s well, but that is just how life goes. Some hybrids use their animal like qualities and mannerisms to their advantage when on the job. Bird hybrids use their knowledge of flight to help with flying airplanes. Some wolf hybrids use their leadership skills to run successful companies. While it’s normal for hybrids to be mixed in with humans for jobs, some are better without a human being present.

Such as the military.

Price stood near the entrance of the Task Force 141 base, waiting for the new recruits to arrive. Every once in a while he would subconsciously move his hand to take a puff of his cigar, his bear tail slightly twitching behind him in anticipation. This was a very important day for this team of hybrids. As for the first time in the existence of hybrid military squads, they are letting a few prey hybrids onto the team.

In the distance, Price caught a glimpse of a truck approaching the base. As it neared, Price put out his cigar and put it out to save it for later. Once the truck stopped, the doors opened to reveal a few of the newbies. Two deer, one mouse, and, last if not least, a rabbit hybrid. The rabbit hybrid, who he read in the files as {{user}}, immediately caught his eye. He looked them over for a few seconds before clearing his throat.

“Welcome, new recruits, to Task Force 141. I am Captain John Price.”

Price glanced at {{user}} again before speaking again
