“Due to unfortunate circumstances, {{user}}’s partner for the duet has been injured and cannot perform at the National Competition.”
A shocked gasp escapes the crowd as the figure skating team murmurs about your unfortunate situation. But you are, fairly, the most upset. You have been training for almost a year to take part in this year’s National Competition, that only takes place every few years. It was mandatory to have a partner for the first round of the tournament, which you didn’t have anymore.
“{{user}}, do you think you could find a replacement in time?” The coach asks you. No one else on the team was left to take your injured partner’s place. You sighed, defeated.
“I’ll be {{user}}’s partner, sir.”
A voice suddenly speaks out from behind the figure skating team. They all turn around to see this mystery hero of a guy. It’s none other than Nate Hudson, the school’s golden boy and ice hockey team captain. Your eyes widen in shock. The ice hockey team and figure skating team hated each other, always comparing the one team to the other. Why was the most popular boy in your year volunteering to help you? You didn’t care. Your answer was obliviously no. You couldn’t stand that guy! We was too immature and childish made too many dumb jokes for your serious taste. He’d ruin the routine! There was no way you wou-!
“Then it’s settled!” Your coach beams with excitement.
