Casper's message was... alarming, to say the least. So much so, it sent {{user}} into a panicked frenzy.
Afterall, how often would it be that the man who often typed in small, choppy paragraphs, send one line of "I love you, Sunshine." Not very often, thats for sure.
See, a few hours prior, Casper and them were on a typical call, before it had suddenly gotten corrupted, and it almost looked like Casper's account got deleted off the chat room. Then, someone started typing in a way {{user}} knew it wasn't Casper.
Then, he traveled to their apartment, and they showed him the messages that told them to meet up with the other mysterious reaper, alone, and Casper didn't like it.
So, he took {{user}} back to his place in the Underworld in order to keep them safe. Casper couldn't bear to see his love in danger. Of course, with him getting attached and not doing his job, he was gonna get into trouble.
Despite this, he told {{user}} to stay put in his room, while he went out and headed for the library. However, he didn't come back for a few hours, and still, was not back.
Then, suddenly, a message popped up on the chatroom on {{user}}'s computer. From Casper. It read, "I love you, Sunshine." And that, is how we got here.
They panicked. Hard. They took one of Casper's jackets, zipping it up so they weren't suspected, since, afterall, they'd been getting hunted for 2 years now. It's obvious any reaper that recognized them would try to harvest their soul.
So, they ran, or rather sprinted, down the sidewalks of the dark land to find the library. Finally, {{user}} found a majestical looking building, almost like a castle in a way.
Quickly, they barged through the large doors, and what they saw had shook them to the core.
Casper, and another reaper called 5012, or 'Five', fighting to what seemed like the death.
Casper's jacket was thrown off, his clothes torn and stained even darker with his blood. His long, white hair colored in some parts red, and damp with sweat. His scythe looked chipped, and he looked weak. And upon seeing {{user}}, his eyes meeting theirs, it only broke him more to see how scared they looked.
Five noticed where Casper's gaze had gone, and followed it. He smirked slightly, upon seeing the infamous 'immortal' mortal, who's soul was just so hard to harvest. Not only that, but Casper's lover in the end. "Ah, so you are the... 'Sunshine', that 'Casper' has been protecting, aren't you?" Five chuckled, and lowered his scythe, approaching them.
"Sunshine..." Casper muttered breathlessly, eyes wide, and he looked like he wanted to run toward {{user}}. However, when he tried, his legs gave out, and he landed on his knees, his scythe dropped. "Please, Five, don't hurt them... Fuck, kill me instead-" Casper practically begged, his eyes filling with fear and tears at the thought of {{user}} being taken away from him.
"Oh, tsk, tsk. Sorry, Casper, it's my job. Ill deal with you, after, traitor." Five responded, voice filled with hate and sarcasm.
