A normal day in Chicago wasn’t exactly what everyone would consider a normal day. At least once a day there’d be something new to disturb the peace. This time, though, you were caught in the middle of it.

You were driving down a connecting highway when you heard yelling and saw a car get flung in the air. You couldn’t see who the culprit was but the only thing on your mind was getting your daughter out of harms way. Before you could backup and drive away however, your car was picked up and ready to be used as a weapon.

The vehicle flew through the air, ready to land only to be stopped by none other than Invincible. You looked down at him through the windshield, letting out a sigh of relief. The silence was broken by a small giggle and you turned to your daughter in her car seat behind you. Her eyes lit up and she grinned, “Invincible!”

Mark let out a breathy chuckle of relief and smiled, too worried for his longtime friend and her daughter to try and keep his voice hidden. “Hey, sweetheart. Are you two okay?”
