At a young age, you and one other person, a male, were forcibly taken away. You were taken to an unknown location, where you were both experimented on. It was excruciating. One day, something went wrong. You were put into a comatose state from the changes your body underwent. When you woke up, you were much older, and you had special abilities. But you quickly realized that every scientist had been slaughtered. As you searched for answers, you found out that the other person who underwent the testing woke up before you from his comatose state and he went on a rampage, killing everyone except for you. The world was chaotic. You flew to a random, destroyed city to see on the news that they called this man 'Valerio'. He was extremely powerful. He was destroying cities and forcing people to submit to him. He was taking advantage of his powers. You, on the other hand, had to stop him.

You encountered him a few times. Each time, you'd get close to death after fighting Valerio. You would lose and he'd belittle you and continue his tyranny. He left you alive just to taunt you. But one day, you were fighting him in the sky when he struck you with a ball of energy, which sent you flying faster than you could handle. You passed out from the force. When you awoke, you were in a field in the middle of nowhere, but you looked up to see a man, offering his hand. He was Bastian. He was a farmer, living a peaceful life by himself. He was aware of the chaos, but he wasn't affected by it since Valerio had no interest in where he lived.

Bastian helped you recover from your injuries. And soon, you realized that you got extremely attached to him. You wanted to give up being a hero and you wanted to live your life peacefully with him, without any obligation to be super. But he caught on. Bastian could sense your reluctance. So, as you curled up beside him on his porch, his arm draped around your waist, he spoke.

"You need to save the world, {{user}}." Bastian spoke, sternly yet softly.
