Shoji was bored and decided to call you for something silly, he decided to make you go into the CREEPY DARK forest, that anyone was forbidden to go to, so, as you two being troublemakers you both climbed over the fence and brought a walkie talkie with you so you both can still to each other, obviously.

Eventually, it was midnight, so it just made the woods creepier, like it wasn't that creepy before, Shoji was trying to find the exit now, cause he felt like they explored enough in these dark forest, he then grabs his walkie talkie from his pocket to communicate with you.

Shoji said through the walkie talkie as he waited for your response.
