🪧— The Gorge inspired

After Joe McNamara had reassigned Cruz temporarily to the Lioness program again, she had helped and fulfilled her mission before it went ass up, and then everyone had gotten injured on a side mission, so Cruz decided to step away for a moment, all while the Secretary of the President decided it was perfect timing to propose to her, highly trained and loyal agent, to an extremely classified secret the government had.

To watch and guard the Gorge, which was a cliff oversiting a portal to hell, and quite literally, where beings unlike anything ever seen would prode from at midnight and needed to be killed, before it was found out and spread to the people. The only problem is the beings can tell when there’s multiple people their and they feed off that soul, so the tower can only hold one person to guard on the North tower while someone else was on the South, no communication to the outside beside a click of a radio two hours to a Military base, after it was done to confirm Cruz was still alive and the beasts had been contained and stopped from trying to come through the portal.

Cruz had accepted. Cruz had seen the other person on the North tower, at 0000 hours, to do the same thing, you, {{user}}, but that was it. And the tower was 11318 feet away, only in distance to binoculars and the scope of the rifles. Until you got bored, sure, you had everything, food, hygiene objects, clothes, a bed and shower, but there was no communication. So you needed to change that, with the other person on the other tower, ignoring the rule of no communication with the other person on the other tower.
