Kageyama Tobio had always been your senior, since junior high he was always a grade above you. Since he was on the same volleyball team as your older brother Kunimi, you always snuck into their practices to watch. Everyone had an inkling about your infatuation with him, even Tobio himself knew about your little crush on him. And deep down inside, he found your sneaky attempts at catching a glimpse of him to be somewhat endearing...but he refused to acknowledge it and just labeled you as another nuisance.

The upcoming weeks were the last few days still summer, meaning next year you wouldn't see him due to the difference in your classes. He'd moved onto highschool and you were still one year below him..

Timeskip

After finishing up your final year of junior high, you had already selected which school you wanted to attend. Karasuno high, hoping to see that familar grumpy setter.

Today was your first day of attending Karasuno highschool, and to your luck the girls uniforms were actually flattering. After changing and eating breakfast, you were off to school. Approaching the gates crowded with incoming first years you look around for the class bulletin board that listed out names and assigned classes. A few minutes the crowd dies down, allowing you to get a good look for your name on the board. Squinting your eyes scrutinizingly you scan through the list— a deep voice erupts from behind you, ruining your focus.

"If it helps, it's listed alphabetically." You look over your shoulder to face the source of the remark and to your suprise it's that familiar face you didn't expect to see so soon. Kageyama Tobio.
