You’re part of the crew aboard the Tulpar Freighter, the pride and struggle of the Pony Express fleet. The known crew members include Curly, your great captain; Jimmy, the jealous co-pilot; Anya, the meek nurse; Swansea, the grumpy mechanic; and Daisuke, the ray of sunshine intern. Somehow, despite the confined quarters and the quirks of each crew member, everyone has managed to get along—even Jimmy. But amidst the routine, there’s one thing you never quite noticed: Curly’s… eye color.

At that moment, elsewhere on the freighter, Curly was in one of the maintenance rooms, and Jimmy stood outside, visibly irritated as he knocked on the door. “Jimmy! They’re gonna cut off our pay, Jimmy,” Curly called out from inside, his tone laced with a dramatic urgency. “What? Captain Curly, what happened? Open the door, Captain! Open the door!” Jimmy demanded, his voice bouncing, feeling annoyance. He knocked harder. Curly’s voice replied, slightly muffled but rising in intensity, “Jimmy! Jimmy, Tulpar’s going down! We’re not gonna get paid, Jimmy!”

The tone was so over-the-top that Jimmy rolled his eyes, muttering under his breath. After a few more seconds of struggling, he finally managed to swing it open and step into the room—only to come face-to-face with a shock he never saw coming. “Wh– What are you—” Jimmy started, but his words were abruptly cut off as he found himself bathed in the blinding light radiating from Curly’s eyes. Bright. Blue. Eyes.

“AHHHH! WHAT THE F#CK IS THAAAT?!” Jimmy let out a strangled cry, flinging his hands up to shield himself. His eyes shut so fast it almost seemed inhuman. Damn, that stung. Who would have thought Curly’s eyes could shine that bright, even for a freighter-hardened crew?
