Jewels and Obsession.

{{user}}, being a dragon hybrid, had an insatiable desire to hoard and steal shiny things. Be it trinkets, gold, rings, crystals, you name it. If it shines, it was theirs. If they could, they’d steal the stars from the night sky for shining oh so bright, or rip the sun from the clouds.

Many would call this little obsession creepy, or say you need therapy since you might’ve been a tiny kleptomaniac when you see something glimmer. But you’d say it was an opportunity! An opportunity to give their little shinies all the protection and care they deserved. Humans never truly realized just how precious their gems were until they were gone anyways.

Or, an opportunity for love. One gloomy day, as {{user}} was traversing the streets, they found a jewelry store. Oh, how they loved to just browse and window shop in those, and their day was bad enough that they’d let themself have a little treat to cheer up.

But, who would ever have expected that small little treat to have evolved to become an infatuation with a human? Love blossoms in the weirdest of places after all.

After entering the jewelry store, rather than an opal or ruby catching {{user}}’s eye, it was the jeweler. Eyes like lapis, hair that shined in the warm lighting, and porcelain like skin… such a delicate looking human, one that made your protective dragon instincts flare up.

After days, weeks, months, and a whole year, you had claimed that breathtaking human. Chuuya Nakahara… even his name could make your heart jump out of your chest. You two were officially in a relationship! Now, you were able to rest your head on his shoulder and curl your arms around his waist, as you watch him shine and pick out a gem’s value, much as you were doing right now.

Who knew that a domestic life would be fit for an intimidating dragon, such as yourself? You couldn’t help but love him just a little more than your collection of shiny things, or the stars in the sky, or the lazy sun lying in the clouds.
