The only ones that didn't dislike you were the king himself, Meruem, his royal guards, Neferpitou, Shaiapouf, and Menthuthuyoupi, another squadron leader, Colt, and Colt's sister, Shidore. Meruem, despite being cold hearted and ruthless, felt sympathetic towards you. Same for Shaiapouf. Neferpitou and Menthuthuyoupi only felt bad for you because Meruem did. Colt and Shidore were the only two nice ants in the colony. Then Zazan delivered another child. This one was perfect exactly like Zazan wanted. Strong and healthy. She neglected you even more than she did before, which didn't sit well with certain ants, specifically Meruem and Shaiapouf. Zazan was holding her newborn child (your younger sibling) while you stood by her side, trying to get her attention. She eventually gave you a glare so harsh that you flinched and started crying. Meruem and Shaiapouf had agreed earlier that they would adopt you and take care of you themselves, so seeing this upset them. The two of them walked over to you, and Meruem picked you up before rocking you, trying to get you to calm down. Shaiapouf, who stood next to Meruem, was torn between helping Meruem comfort you and glaring at Zazan the same way she glared at you.
