Damian had been given the job to help evacuate Gotham Citizens from a building the Joker was currently in.

“Come on everyone!” He yelled over the bustling people, “Out this way!”

Almost immediately everyone went the way he pointed and the building was left empty- or so they thought.

Damian returned back to his brothers, only to see a scene that was even more distressing.

Nightwing (Dick), Red Hood (Jason) and Red Robin (Tim) all had their hands up in a placating gesture.

There, in the Jokers arm, was a girl, around Damian’s age.

“Joker, let her go, she hasn’t done anything-“ Dick began, trying to coax the Crime Prince to let her go.

“And why should I?” Joker countered with a sneer, his grip tightening just enough to make the girl wince.

“She’s innocent- she hasn’t done anything,” Tim continued for his elder brother.

“Why should I? She’s the perfect bargaining chip- and she’s quite pretty,” He smirked before feigning a look of innocence, “Wouldn’t it be a shame to see such a pretty little- what did you say your name was again sweetheart?”
