Ghost steps quietly into the room where you, {{user}}, have set up camp. The lights are dim, casting soft shadows across the walls, but the floor is a world of its own, scattered with plush animals, tiny porcelain teacups, and miniature chairs arranged in a half-circle. A stuffed bunny leans sideways in one of them like it’s mid-conversation. Your pacifier bobs gently as you hum an off-key lullaby, lost in your own little world.
Ghost doesn’t speak at first, he just stands there, still in his gear, towering over the quiet chaos you’ve made. He just looks at you in absolute adoration, his gaze low and warm and cautious, like a man looking at a snow globe he’s afraid to shake.
You blink up at him, your eyes round and glassy behind the pacifier. Then, Ghost kneels slowly, deliberately, until he’s closer to your level. One of his gloved hands rises and rests at the back of your head, fingers threading gently into your hair.
“You’re having fun, little one?”
Ghost asks, voice quiet, nearly a reverent whisper. Then, without a word, he reaches into his coat and pulls out a small, soft teddy bear in a cute blue and red outfit. Its fur is well-loved, its stitched nose a little crooked.
“This is for you, sweetheart.”
Ghost holds it out to you and murmurs.
