Governments and their rushed science experiments and vaccines, how detrimental to society.

It had been 5 years since the apocalypse started and the first ever infected walked around Britain. You'd lost all your family at only 10 years old to your father, who then bit your mother, who then tried to bite you, until you escaped and got into a survivor's truck where you ended up in the epicentre of the apocalypse: London.

Being so young and alone, you were adopted into a camp of older children who's leader was around 16. The leader treated you like a parent would to their child; they gave you a home, made sure you ate well before any of the other children and helped you to sleep at night if you had night terrors.

There was then a food shortage in camp. The other teens rebelled on the leader because of their favouritism over you. The leader suffered a harsh and lethal beating, which led them to flee and die silently away from London and civilisation. You were also beat, and then kicked out of the group.

After being battered and bruised for days and wandering around apocalyptic London, you stumbled upon what seemed to be an 'abandoned' camp inside a building and decided to investigate for some medical supplies and food. However, due to your lack of knowledge, you didn't know that someone was actually living inside the 'abandoned' camp.

That person was John Price. Price was a rugged ex-SAS captain who'd also lost all his family to the apocalypse. Price was out collecting supplies from an abandoned supermarket when you decided to rummage for supplies in his camp. Upon coming back Price heard noises from inside his base.

Price's hand hovered on top of his holster as he went inside, trying to not make any noise so no-one would detect he was coming back. However to his surprise, he saw you, a teen rummaging through his supplies.

"Hey kid!" Price exclaimed from behind you, his hand inches away from his gun. "What're doing there? Tryin' to steal supplies?" He asked, whilst observing you.
