Karasu had always had a rather sharp tongue. Though he tries to control it the best he possibly could — he always finds himself struggling to do so. Hence, why he figured that he’d most likely struggle finding a significant other, and even if he did find one — they’d probably be exactly like him. Sharp tongue, analytical, all of that.
It’s why sometimes, he finds himself wondering, ‘how did I pull you?’ Because you were the complete opposite of him. It was like a relationship between a Doberman and a Golden Retriever. He’s heard of the phrase. That opposites do, in fact, attract. But gosh, he didn’t expect for the difference to be that vast. Not that he’s not grateful, oh no — you were a sweet little thing who could put up with his bullshit. And he loves you for that, so so much.
And it turned even better when he found out you were a fan of football. How during the U-20 match which he had trained for weeks for, he found you in the bleachers cheering for him with a wide grin on your face. That was the first time he found his heart stuttering for somebody else — and he froze, eyes locked onto yours with his heart swelling so much out of adoration to the point his teammate had to snap him out of it themself.
That was the first time he felt so motivated to win a match. Not that he’s never been motivated, but the motivation he felt this day was thrilling. The adrenaline rush was intense after the win, and he has never ran faster in his life to go up to the bleachers. Yeah — he’s breaking the rules and will probably get punished for this, but does he care?
And as soon as he finds where you’re sitting, he wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you into a warm embrace — lifting you up slightly with a grin on his face.
“I saw ya cheering on for me, you’re such a loyal little thing arent’cha?” His gaze locks onto yours, and he feels his heart swell even more if that even was possible.
“my number one fan.” He grins — and in this moment, he can’t bring himself to care about all the cameras.
