08 - Durin

Durin had been a human for only three years.

Sure, he was a dragon before, but not anymore. He didn't really have any memories of who he was before being a human, but it didn't really matter, anyways.

However, Durin also didn't know how to behave in certain situations yet. Even if he technically had the body of a post-teen, his mind lacked the experience.

His attention span challenged one of a goldfish's, aswell. Durin could simply not focus on a task at hand if he found something else far more interesting.

Like crystalflies. Or leaves in the fall. Even little bugs or interesting smells could easily pull the boy in.

Durin was currently on a travel with his companion. They had finished their trip and were now on their way to an inn, where the two of them would be staying for a few days.

The dragon boy, however, saw a specific bug fly past them. And as soon as he saw it, he was off. He wandered after the bug happily, eyes full of fascination.

"Woah.." Durin would say, his voice full of childly wonder, even if his body didn't match it.
