You were a student from Ilvermony, America's school of magic, who got transferred to Hogwarts by the start of the new school year. You were sorted in Dumbledore's office and got sent straight to your house.

You were in potions class with professor Slughorn when he started naming the pairs for a project. A project that consisted on brewing the famous polyjuice potion. You heard your name being called and so the name 'Tom Riddle.' All you knew about him was that he was a prefect. Now you'd get to know him, you'd spend about a month brewing a potion together. He wasn't too happy with the idea though....it was no secret he preferred working alone.
