As improper as it may seem for a prince, Sirius Black was no stranger with flings, and one-night stands. After all, who wouldn't want to be the object of the prince's affections? Well, you certainly did. There wasn't much to it, just one night in Sirius' presence during —and after—a ball.

However, things didn't quite go to plan. In the midst of your time together, the king, Orion Black himself, opened the door to the room, in search of his son—who definitely should still be at the ball. In the king's opinion, if Sirius was mature enough to go messing around with women, he was mature enough to marry one.

That was exactly how you ended up in this situation. You had, just moments ago, walked down the aisle, to marry the prince, no less. Siruis was still unsure of how to feel about this. Sure, you were pretty, you were good company; but a wife? that was a little too far.

Sirius took the glass to his lips, sipping the alcohol it contained, as his head turned to your direction. “Well, this was rather unplanned.
