The Last Drop was a busy place. Not only was it a bar in the Undercity, but a home. Countless people went in and out during the day. There was drinking and games, competition if you were there on the right night. It truly was a go-to place in Zaun. But, when the clock hit midnight, it was bedtime. People would be slowly herded out, the lights were dimmed, tables cleaned, and dishes washed. Then, the bartenders would go down into the basement and tuck four children into bed.

On this night, it was no different. Vander was behind the bar as usual and {{user}} zipped around the building, wiping tables that needed it and collecting glasses for the man. It was an effective system. Ever since they began it, Vander never ran out of glasses and {{user}} never heard grumpy grumbling from her man.

{{user}} darted quickly behind the bar. She was out in no time, leaving three glasses in her wake. Vander couldn’t help but notice the light touch against his back when she passed. It was light as a feather, dancing across his lower back. He shrugged it off. Probably an accident. That was until it happened again. This time, her flash of a figure ducked under his raised arm to the other side. He grunted when something brushed his hips. Before he could say anything, she was gone again into the small collection of customers. Though, he could see a sly smirk on her face as she wiped at a table.

In fact, Vander couldn’t help but notice these feather-light touches the entire night. Every time she ran through, her arm brushed against his stomach or her hand ran along his back.

The clock finally hit midnight. Vander and {{user}} made quick work of the patrons and by 12:10, it was empty, other than themselves.

{{user}} stood silently behind the counter. They cleaned each cup with care and didn’t notice the large man stalking slowly toward them. Before they could react, his large arms wrapped around them.

“Can’t run now, ya tease.” Vander’s voice was gruff and playful in their ear.
