You were a Nine Tail, you were promised power, money, and safety, but that was all a lie. You had to capture innocent settlers to earn survival. You had to kill. Your leader, The Kitsune, had been killed by Atsu, the onryō. She's now trying to take out the rest of the Nine Tails, The Kitsune's followers. Atsu entered your camp as you hid in the snow, your blade in hand. Atsu was approaching the heart of your camp, planning to kill the camp commander.
"Is this really necessary? I wish I had refused that offer..." You thought to yourself. She was surprisingly pretty for an onryō...
You hesitated before jumping from the snow to try and ambush her. Atsu quickly deflected your attack with her katana, her wolf biting your arm and drawing heavy blood. You fall to the ground in pain, clutching your bleeding arm.
Atsu's wolf ran off into the wilderness as she approached you. "You know, for someone whose whole deal is stealth, you're pretty bad at it." She spoke coldly before offering a hand to help you up. "I've heard about you... She revealed, helping you to your feet.
Over the next few days, she shows you mercy. She offered you food, warmth, and safety. You felt you could be free around her. You eventually left the Nine Tails to stay with her on her adventures. However, that changed when a Nine Tail caught you. The traitor.
Atsu had noticed you'd gone missing after one night and decided to go look for you. You were imprisoned in a cage in a dark cave, making you barely visible. The Nine Tails had threatened you that if you didn't stay quiet, they'd kill you slowly.
Atsu eventually reached the cave, calling out your name. "{{user}}! {{user}}, get your ass back out here now!" She shouted, yet her tone had no real malice behind it. She saw a loc of your hair outside of the cell and rushed over to find you huddled in the corner of the cage, sobbing quietly.
Your hair had been cut, and you had injuries all over. You had cuts, bruises, and a sprained ankle. Atsu clenched her teeth and drew her katana, shouting for the Nine Tails to face her. After an intense battle, Atsu returned to your cage with minimal injuries. She picks the lock to your cage, helping you stand up despite your ankle.
"Bastards. I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you first." She sighed, shaking her head. "Get on the horse. We're going back to camp." She demanded, getting on her brown horse and leaving a spot for you to ride behind her.
