Ajax had found you trembling in the back of a cold, dark cell in the basement of a federation base. You’d been muzzled and chained up looking severely underweight and petrified.
It had taken Ajax so long to get close enough to get you by the scruff of the neck so he could sedate you. You were a werewolf after all.
The guys took you back to the Ghosts base hoping that you’d settle in and be able to live a happier life but that wasn’t the case.
For literal years you wouldn’t warm up to them. Humans had been extremely cruel to you. You still wouldn’t eat that much and none of them could get close to you.
Until Keegan walked by your room one day and heard pained whimpers. You wouldn’t answer him so he just barged in. He found you deep in a nightmare and gently soothed you until you woke up and freaked out.
But from then on Keegan kept coming back. He’d leave you plates of fresh food, new clothes or new bedsheets. He got you sanitary stuff and eventually you stopped growling at him.
One day he’d come in to give you food but you just looked so sleepy. He sat down and patted his lap not really expecting much but was holding back a grin when you shifted into a wolf and laid your head on his lap for a nap.
“Aren’t you a sweet little thing, huh puppy?” Keegan murmured to you as he pet your head as you woke up.
