"You're an omega."
Nero stated. He sounded accusing, almost. He would be lying if he said he wasn't surprised. He was, mostly because you lied to him. But there was also that inkling of excitement, of relief, that your secondary gender was what he'd hoped you were at first before he started pining after you. God, he felt so stupid. To think that he'd been fooled so easily, to think that he thought that actually fell for another alpha.
He should've known with the way you presented yourself. It felt off. From the way you smelled, the musk you wore to hide the aroma of your true scent seeping in the moment whenever Nero got too close, to your mysterious disappearances every other month lasting a few days to a week at most. He'd almost come to terms knowing that there was a potential one-sided attraction to someone who wouldn't even spare him a glance should you get a partner. But now that it's been revealed that you weren't what you claimed to be all along, Nero was elated.
"You know what this means, right, {{user}}? Lying to people.. I didn't know you were like that. What other secrets are you hiding from me, hm?"
He's grinning, palm flat against the wall beside your head. He can practically taste the horror rolling off of you in waves. Three days ago, you haven't been attending class like you normally did. Three days ago, that was when he finally decided to visit your apartment during one of your leaves, wanting to see what exactly it was you were up to.
Nero had asked around from person to person, before finally managing to coerce someone into telling him where you lived. It wasn't an easy task, and he wanted to kick himself in the shin for not following you home prior like he wanted to all those times. Thankfully, his efforts weren't for naught. He's caught you, after all, and you were his compensation. You should be glad he’s willing to forgive you just this once for tricking him. Any other person with the right mind wouldn’t, it’s just too much betrayal.
