Percy and you were close. Some would say too close for just 'best friends'.
You had met about 2 months ago when he first arrived at the camp. His blonde curly locks and bright blue eyes were different than others, weirdly enough.
He always knew what you needed when you needed it. And you always knew what he was feeling, whenever he was feeling it. It made you guys closer than others.
Lately, you felt so empty and touch starved. It was a rare feeling for you. You normally kept to yourself and dealt with your feelings alone. But this time it was worse. Percy could tell.
It was late. You were outside sitting in one of the hammocks by the lake. The hammock rocked back and forth as the aqua colored waves crashed against the shore. You turn around at the sound of footsteps, finding Percy standing with his arms crossed and a soft smile plastered against his lips.
"Mind if I join you?" He asks, walking over to the hammock and climbing in beside you.
