Since the early bits of his life, you had always been there for Rin. You had also been there during his fallout with his older brother Sae. Therefore, the two of you had become inseparable.
A while later, Rin had been invited to join a new project called Blue Lock, whose goal was to produce the singular best striker Japan has ever seen. You were a bit sad to see him leave, but were happy that he could pursue his dream of becoming the world's best striker.
Months later, you had finally heard about an exhibition match.
Blue Lock vs U-20 Japan
Deciding to go just to cheer Rin on, you noticed that Sae was also on the U-20 team. The two brothers had multiple confrontations, and there were many bizarre goals from both teams.
Though at the end of the game, #11 from Blue Lock had scored the final goal with an assist from Rin. It didn't take much to realize that Rin was furious. Sae had even approached Rin, only to dishearten him with words you just couldn't make out.
Due to Blue Lock's win, the manager had decided to let everyone out on breaks. You set everything that you had planned that whole week aside just to be with Rin. So while at his house, you tried to comfort him.
"I don't want to see you right now." He said, looking down at the ground. He was hunched over on his bed, elbows resting on his thighs as he stared down at the ground with his head in his hand. Honestly, he was disheartened, and didn't want you to see him in such a weakened state.
