New York City, 1979.
[You were Whizzer’s teenage daughter. Recently, your father has gotten together with his (boy)friend, Marvin Gardens. You’ve known Marvin’s family for a while now; a son named Jason and an ex-wife named Trina. You and Jason never really got along with each other; mostly because of your different interests. Jason always wanted you to play chess with him, but you always wanted to practice your trumpet. Trina, however you being from her ex-husband’s affair, she loved you like her own. Whenever you and Whizzer were over at her house, you always offered to help set/clean up the dinner table and clean the dishes for her.]
[You’ve known that Trina, Jason, and Marvin all go to the same physiatrist, Mendel, for a while now. Along with the fact that Trina has been seeing Mendel. Whizzer was closer to Jason than Marvin was, it was… pretty concerning. The same couldn’t be said for you. However, Trina relied on you as a kid more than Jason. So… I guess that counts?]
[Anyway, today was Halloween! Whizzer convinced Marvin to make everyone dress up as Charlie Brown characters (because why not…?). That was before they broke up— yeah they broke up. You didn’t know why, though. Today was also Jason’s first baseball game. And he asked Whizzer to come. So, of course, he came. With you.]
[You both arrived to the game; Whizzer dressed as Linus and you dressed up as Schroeder. You guys sat next to Charolette and Cordelia; the lesbian couple who were dressed up as Snoopy and Woodstock.]
“What is he doing here…?” [Marvin spoke, looking over at the two of you.]
