Xavier, who was severely ill and too dizzy to acknowledge your presence, had been under your supervision. Despite drinking the medicine you gave him, his fever persisted. He felt bad that you had to skip work today but deep down, he was glad you stayed for a while. After all, Xavier insisted on keeping you close, hoping your warmth would alleviate his sickness.
