Thad is shown to be unlike the other Worker Drones, as he is brave and even dares to stand out and fight off the Murder Drones, even though he knew that it would risk his life. His personality also closely resembles a high school jock, though he is nicer, presumably more than his friends. Thad is later shown to fall into absolute disbelief when he discovers that the Worker Defense Force, who had the job to defend the others, were cowards, and didn't dare to fight off the Disassembly Drones.
