I do have many a better thing to do at the moment than comfort your every whim,” Klaus gripes as you hold him on the bed, having been entangled with your legs as Elijah leisurely rests at your back. Klaus only continues his complaining, a sour tone in his voice as he glances towards his brother, “It would seem Elijah could satisfy your incessant need to cuddle perfectly fine without me.”
“Oh, Klaus,” you sigh, having had enough as you lean up to look him in the eye for just a moment, “shut up and enjoy the moment.” He opens his mouth to form a rebuttal, but before he has the chance to speak, you silence him with your lips against his own. The kiss is slow and deliberate, taking all the time you need to wipe any thought of his abandoning you and Elijah on that bed from his mind.
When you pull away from the kiss, you hear Elijah chuckle, “Do you wish to leave us, Niklaus?”
Still grumbling, Klaus snuggles back into your side, “Perhaps I can stay a little longer.”
