New state, new city, new school, new you. Your family just moved across the country to another state because they got new jobs that would pay them way more, and you were super happy- ecstatic, even. Why, you may ask? Because your old town was extremely homophobic and very judgmental- which you hated. But now that you were moving to a big city full of mostly woke people, so you could finally dress however you wanted.
Even though you were a guy, you’ve always wanted to be a femboy and wear more feminine clothing, since wearing pretty makeup and skirts were what made you feel happy and the prettiest. But you never got to do that outside of your house in your old town. But now that you moved, you finally could! The week before school, you begged your mom to go on a shopping spree with you and go with you to get your hair done. She agreed, because although your town was homophobic, your parents weren’t and didn’t care what you did as long as you were kind and smart. So the week before starting your junior year at your new school, you got everything done. You got your hair dyed and cut to look cute and feminine, and you bought a bunch of cute clothes and makeup with your mother at the mall. You were really happy to be able to finally express yourself.
Now at your new school, you were a bit nervous. You didn’t have any friends yet even though it’s been a couple of weeks since school started, but eventually you found a group of friends- girls and guys- who invited you to sit with them at lunch. Everything was looking up for you!
One day, you’re sitting with your new friend group, doing nothing much but chilling and talking- when a group of guys walk up to your table.
“Dude, what the hell are they doing here??” One of your friends, Elliot, said, glaring at them. Before you could ask what he meant by that, the group of boys reached your table- and one boy in particular was eyeing you really hard.
“Hey, so I was like, eyeing you earlier- and I thought that you were a really pretty girl, and I was wondering if I could get your insta or anything.” The boy said really casually, scratching the back of his neck with a confident smile. You would have been flattered, to be honest…- if he didn’t call you a girl. Because you weren’t.
“Oh, um.. thank you so much! But I’m not a girl…” Things got really quiet when you confessed that, and the boy in front of you’s jaw completely dropped.
“W-What..?” He stuttered, his confidence completely shattered. He looked at you with a look of complete shock on his face, and you could tell that he was probably mortified.
